The MBBS course duration is of five and half years including a one-year mandatory residential internship programme. The MBBS course is conducted under semester system where students undergo theory and practical classes in nine semesters and four yearly exams followed by one year of rotational internship programme which constitutes training in different areas of medicine and surgery.
